MMTS 2026 Visitor Guide — 7 Live Demos at TeepTrak Booth #421

Planning your visit to the Montreal Manufacturing Technology Show 2026 on May 11 and 12? If OEE monitoring, OPC UA integration, or plug-and-play industrial IoT is on your evaluation list, Booth #421 is structured to give you answers in the time it takes to walk through a trade-show floor once. This visitor guide explains exactly what you will see running live, what to ask during your 30 minutes with the team, and how to prepare beforehand so the meeting produces actionable next steps.

The seven demo stations below are grouped by use case rather than by product family. That is intentional — Quebec manufacturers visiting the booth have specific operational problems to solve (downtime visibility, quality documentation burden, takt-time drift on packaging lines, recipe traceability for regulated processes), and the grouping lets you head directly to the demo that matches your reality.

Demo 1 — PerfTrak: Real-Time OEE in Under 30 Minutes

This is the flagship demo and the one most visitors start with. The live setup shows a wireless IIoT module attached to a real CNC machine, streaming real-time availability, performance and quality data to a tablet dashboard that visitors can interact with directly. What to notice: the installation takes under 30 minutes from unboxing to first data, the sensor is completely non-invasive (no PLC modification, no network intrusion), and the operator interface uses five large buttons instead of the 50-to-200 drop-down codes that typical MES systems require.

Questions worth asking at this station: how the system behaves on equipment from the 1990s versus OPC UA-capable new equipment, what happens when the operator does not tag a stoppage, and what the sustained 90-day operator entry rate has been at comparable reference clients. The TeepTrak engineers at the booth have data on all three and will show it on the spot.

Demo 2 — PerfTrak OPC UA: Direct Connectivity, No Proprietary Lock-In

The new OPC UA variant is being showcased at MMTS 2026 for the first time in North America. The demo connects to a simulated modern PLC via OPC UA and captures equipment state at millisecond resolution, without any vendor-specific middleware. This is the right station if your plant has standardized on modern controllers (Beckhoff, Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Logix with OPC UA servers) and you want automated data capture with no manual operator input overhead.

The key differentiator to understand: many competing OEE systems claim OPC UA support but actually route data through vendor-managed middleware that reintroduces lock-in. The PerfTrak OPC UA implementation is direct, vendor-neutral, and gives the manufacturer full ownership of the underlying data. This alignment with open standards is why TeepTrak’s approach fits Quebec’s digitalization programs so well — Quebec manufacturers have been burned by proprietary lock-in before and are explicitly evaluating vendors on this dimension.

Demo 3 — QualTrak: Paper-Free SPC on the Shop Floor

This demo is targeted at Quebec’s aerospace and precision-machining ecosystem. QualTrak replaces paper-based SPC inspections with guided tablet workflows that enforce inspection sequences, capture measurements with full traceability, and flag out-of-control signals in real time. The demo runs a full SPC inspection cycle from start to finish, showing the tablet UI, the backend data capture, and the Pareto of non-conformities feeding back into the quality system.

For manufacturers currently running paper-based SPC (still the dominant practice in Quebec mid-market aerospace suppliers), the QualTrak demo is often the fastest ROI demonstration on the booth — the paper-handling labor and the data-entry duplication that QualTrak eliminates typically pay for the system within the first year. Ask for the cost model during the demo; the engineers will build it for your specific plant volume.

Demo 4 — PaceTrak: Takt-Time and Manual-Task Tracking

PaceTrak is the right demo if your operational reality is an assembly line, a packaging line, or a food-processing line where operator pace is the dominant variable. The demo shows a simulated packaging line with four stations, each tracked for cycle time, variance, and handoff delays. The value becomes visible immediately: the station-level data makes bottlenecks obvious within minutes, in ways that aggregated line-level OEE never could.

This demo resonates particularly strongly with Quebec’s food processing industry — Agropur, Olymel, Saputo, and the mid-market food manufacturers across the province — because takt-time drift is the dominant efficiency loss in high-volume food lines, and PaceTrak is purpose-built to surface it. If you are in food processing, allocate extra time at this station.

Demo 5 — ProcessTrak: Continuous Process Monitoring with Recipe Management

ProcessTrak is specifically for continuous-process manufacturing: food & beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, specialty materials. The demo runs a recipe-based batch with full parameter tracking (temperature, pressure, flow, pH), records parameter excursions, and maintains full batch traceability from raw materials to finished goods. Regulated manufacturers in Quebec’s pharma ecosystem (Bausch Health, Pharmascience, Apotex, BioVectra) should spend time here — the batch-record capability maps directly to GMP compliance requirements.

The demo also includes recipe management, showing how process parameters are configured, versioned, approved, and deployed to production. This is the capability that separates continuous-process monitoring from discrete-equipment monitoring, and it is where ProcessTrak differentiates from generic OEE tools.

Demo 6 — MoniTrak: Large-Screen Visual Management

MoniTrak is the visual management layer — large-screen industrial dashboards for shop-floor use, designed to be glanceable from across a production area. The demo runs a real TeepTrak client dashboard on a large industrial monitor, showing how the information architecture is tiered: operators see their station, line leaders see their zone, plant managers see the whole plant, and corporate operations see aggregated cross-plant views.

What to notice: the dashboards are purposely minimal. Too much information on a shop-floor display becomes invisible within a week — the operator’s eye filters it out. MoniTrak enforces a discipline of three to five critical numbers per view, with drill-down available on demand. If your plant has previously deployed dashboards that nobody looks at anymore, this demo explains why and how to fix it.

Demo 7 — Jemba AI: Predictive Analytics on Real Client Data

Jemba is TeepTrak’s machine-learning platform (available separately at jemba.ai) that sits on top of the collected shop-floor data. The demo shows downtime forecasting, anomaly detection, and root-cause recommendation on real anonymized client data — showing how the AI translates raw OEE data into specific operational recommendations: “Station 4 vibration pattern indicates bearing degradation, expected failure window: next 14-18 days.”

For Quebec manufacturers evaluating where AI actually produces operational value (as opposed to where it is marketing), this demo is the most grounded. The underlying data is real, the predictions have been validated against actual subsequent events, and the false-positive rates are disclosed on the spot. No hand-waving, no “generative AI will transform your plant” marketing — specific, measurable, verifiable.

How to Prepare Before the Visit

Booth visits that produce actionable outcomes share three characteristics. First, the visitor arrives with a specific operational problem in mind — not “learn about OEE” but “understand how real-time downtime visibility would change our weekly Friday production review.” Second, the visitor has prepared two to three specific plant parameters — approximate line count, rough OEE baseline (even if estimated), main operational pain points. Third, the visitor has booked a 30-minute private meeting in advance rather than trying to catch the team between walk-ins.

The free pass and private meeting booking process takes two minutes and is available at teeptrak.com/en/request-a-demo. Meeting slots fill up across the two days — early booking is recommended, especially for the Monday 10 AM to 2 PM peak window.
