The 90-day guided OEE pilot: one line, a signed baseline, a decision on a fixed date
Most OEE projects stall because nobody agreed up front what success means. Our pilot settles that before a single sensor goes on a machine.
Four stages, written down before installation
Scope and gates
We agree the line, the people and the decision date in writing. Nothing is installed while one of these is still open.
The baseline
TEEPTRAK measures the line as it runs today. Your line owner signs the baseline, so the result cannot be argued later.
Guided operation
Operators qualify every stop. A 30-minute review each week turns the data into actions, run by our engineer and your line owner.
Business case
You get the before-and-after on your own numbers and a costed roll-out plan. Silence counts as no, so the pilot never drifts.
Three named people, or the pilot does not start
Your plant names
- A sponsor at plant-manager level or above
- A line owner who runs the weekly review
- The line in scope and the decision date
TEEPTRAK names
- An account manager who owns the pilot
- An engineer who installs, trains and joins every review
- The business case at the end, built on your data
The pilot is paid and fixed in scope. It is not a free trial: the commitment is to measure, and the fee makes sure the budget owner is involved from the start. Your TEEPTRAK contact confirms the fee for your region.

What one OEE point is worth on your line
Hutchinson raised its OEE from 47% to 72% with TEEPTRAK. Read the case study (in French). TEEPTRAK runs in 700+ factories in 30+ countries.

Tell us about the line
A member of the regional team replies to check the gates with you. There is no automated sales sequence.

What plant managers ask before a pilot
Why 90 days and not 30?
One week goes to the baseline, and a line needs several weekly review cycles before changes show in OEE rather than in a single good week. Ninety days gives enough cycles to separate a real gain from noise.
Do we need to change PLCs or machine programs?
No. PerfTrak sensors fit machines of any age and brand without PLC changes, and plants already on OPC UA or SCADA can connect PerfTrak OPC UA to their servers instead.
What happens on the decision date?
You review the business case with your sponsor and decide to roll out, extend the scope or stop. If no decision is given, the pilot ends.
Can we run the pilot on more than one line?
The pilot covers one line so the baseline and the result stay clear. Other lines come in the roll-out plan.
