How MTBF and MTTR are calculated
MTBF = total operating time ÷ number of failures. MTTR = total repair time ÷ number of repairs. Example: 450 h of operation with 6 failures and 9 h of repairs gives an MTBF of 75 h and an MTTR of 1.5 h — the template computes both from your entries.
