H\u00e9riti\u00e8re directe du Material Requirements Planning (MRP I) d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Joseph Orlicky dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, MRP II \u00e9tend le p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre de la planification au-del\u00e0 des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res pour int\u00e9grer capacit\u00e9 machine, ressources humaines, tr\u00e9sorerie et liens avec la comptabilit\u00e9. En 2026, MRP II est la colonne vert\u00e9brale logique de la plupart des ERP manufacturing fran\u00e7ais \u2014 m\u00eame si son ex\u00e9cution dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 industrielle laisse souvent \u00e0 d\u00e9sirer.<\/p>\n<p>Cet article s&rsquo;adresse aux directeurs d&rsquo;usine, responsables planning, directeurs supply chain et responsables m\u00e9thodes qui veulent comprendre MRP II dans le contexte industriel fran\u00e7ais moderne, identifier les modes d&rsquo;\u00e9chec classiques, et positionner la m\u00e9thode face aux \u00e9volutions r\u00e9centes (APS, TRS temps r\u00e9el, planification adaptative).<\/p>\n<h2>MRP II en trois niveaux : PIC, PDP, MRP<\/h2>\n<p>La hi\u00e9rarchie MRP II traditionnelle s&rsquo;organise en trois niveaux temporels imbriqu\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<p><strong>PIC \u2014 Plan Industriel et Commercial.<\/strong> Horizon 12-24 mois, granularit\u00e9 mensuelle. D\u00e9cline le PIC en familles de produits puis en r\u00e9f\u00e9rences finies \u00e0 produire par semaine. Tient compte de la disponibilit\u00e9 mati\u00e8re, de la capacit\u00e9 machine, des stocks cibles. Autrement dit, MRP II suppose un TRS implicite (typiquement 75-85%) et planifie en cons\u00e9quence.<\/p>\n<p>Le probl\u00e8me : le TRS r\u00e9el sur une ligne donn\u00e9e un jour donn\u00e9 est plus souvent de 62% ou 91% que les 78% suppos\u00e9s par la moyenne. La capacit\u00e9 planifi\u00e9e est syst\u00e9matiquement fausse, parfois de 15-30%. Le planning d\u00e9rive quelques heures apr\u00e8s sa mise en production.<\/p>\n<p>Les industriels fran\u00e7ais qui font tourner MRP II sans mesure TRS temps r\u00e9el se trouvent dans une situation de re-planification permanente. Le planificateur passe la majeure partie de sa journ\u00e9e \u00e0 g\u00e9rer la d\u00e9rive plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;\u00e0 piloter le plan original. Les indicateurs de respect PDP sont syst\u00e9matiquement d\u00e9grad\u00e9s. Les d\u00e9lais clients sont tenus au prix d&rsquo;heures suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment le TRS temps r\u00e9el transforme MRP II<\/h2>\n<p>Les industriels fran\u00e7ais qui d\u00e9ploient une mesure TRS temps r\u00e9el (TeepTrak PerfTrak ou \u00e9quivalent) rapportent typiquement une am\u00e9lioration substantielle de la pr\u00e9cision de leur planning MRP II \u2014 passage de 60-70% de respect PDP \u00e0 85-92% sous six mois post-d\u00e9ploiement TRS. Le MRP II utilise ces donn\u00e9es pour calibrer ses hypoth\u00e8ses de temps de cycle et TRS sur une base glissante. Une ligne qui tourne \u00e0 68% TRS cette semaine est planifi\u00e9e \u00e0 68%, pas \u00e0 la moyenne historique de 78%. Les engagements clients bas\u00e9s sur ces plannings plus pr\u00e9cis sont tenus plus fiablement.<\/p>\n<p>Cette int\u00e9gration permet \u00e9galement la re-planification dynamique quand des perturbations surviennent.
